Seniors Festival: Navigating Aged Care - Mornington Library

Join Bolton Clarke to discuss navigating the aged care system, My Aged Care, assessments, Support at Home and what your next steps could be.

Understanding the aged care system can feel overwhelming, but knowing where to start makes all the difference. Join us for an informative session with Bolton Clarke that will guide you through the My Aged Care process, explain what happens during assessments, and help you understand the next steps in accessing support.

We'll cover common challenges such as wait times, paperwork, and choosing the right services for you, as well as the upcoming changes to the Support at Home program and what they mean for older Australians. You'll also learn about free support services available through care finders, advocacy organisations, and Services Australia.

Whether you're planning ahead for yourself or supporting a family member, this session will provide practical information, helpful tips, and trusted resources to help you navigate aged care with confidence.

Free, bookings essential.
