Whitehorse Seniors Festival/Fruit & Vegetable Craving

A traditional craft admired for its beauty, precision, and creativity. This activity will demonstrate how everyday produce can be transformed into elegant decorative pieces for food presentation.

Experience how the mind can transform just a common apple into a swimming swan, a plain watermelon into a beautiful rose. Participants will enjoy simple live demonstrations, featuring common design elements such as flowers, leaves, and decorative patterns often seen in Thai cuisine and special occasions.

There may also be opportunities to learn basic techniques that are safe, easy to follow, and practical to recreate at home. This activity is suitable for seniors and designed to be enjoyed at a gentle, relaxed pace.
