As part of the Melbourne Festival of Puppetry, larger-than-life puppets will be popping up around Arts Centre Melbourne – from giant flies and cheeky devilfish to intergalactic healers. Keep your eyes peeled and you might just encounter something unexpected.

Burlap Beehive and the Babbletrap

Meet the multi-dimensional medics of Burlap Beehive and the Babbletrap, who have travelled across the galaxy to heal what ails us. Keep your eyes peeled for these wonderfully weird wandering puppets.
The Blowies

Watch out – the blowies are buzzing in! These giant, cheeky replicas of Central Victorian flies will be flitting around our forecourt, chatting with audiences and looking for help to care for their babies in a giant compost heap.
Deep Sea Divers and Devil Fish

Dive into a delightfully devilfish encounter as strange and wonderful sea creatures make their way around Arts Centre Melbourne. A playful roving performance for the whole family.
