DEAD BY DAWN
(Poland)
Directed by: Dawid Torrone
Cult playwright Heissenhoff, ending 30 years of silence, invites young actors to rehearse his latest play about a witch's final hours. The premiere is in just three weeks at the enigmatic Heissenhoff family theater in Katusze village. The eccentric director and a troupe (Natalia, Marta, Szymon, Adam, Olka) arrive during a Christmas Eve storm. Rehearsals begin, but Natalia, the lead, is haunted by disturbing visions. After witnessing their director's murder and being trapped in the theater, they discover a secret history. The Eye-Mask Murderer hunts them, and they realize the horrifying truth: Heissenhoff's plan to summon the antichrist through a secret ritual.
