The Creativerse: Children's Festival of Art, Tech and Play

The Creativerse is a children's festival where art, tech and play collide, returning to Bendigo this October.

A playground of possibilities, the Creativerse offers free and ticketed events designed to spark imagination and bring families together through creative discovery, with interactive installations, live performances and hands-on workshops. Perfect for families with kids aged 3 to 12 years, and their grown-ups.

Free activities are on offer as part of the Immersive Zone, including creative workshops, immersive tech play, roaming performances, and storytelling and art-making scattered throughout the festival. A full program of ticketed live performances and workshops runs alongside the free activities, spanning theatre, puppetry, music, comedy and visual art for different age groups.

The Immersive Zone brings together collaborations with Polyglot Theatre, Bendigo Art Gallery, Golden Dragon Museum, Castlemaine Circus, Snigel The Snail, Zoe Barry and Jason Tamiru, plus the Country and Belonging Immersive exhibition featuring artists Annie Brigdale, Neil Morris, Josie Gower, Leonie Van Eyk and Jim Coad, whose practices span First Nations art and culture, music and sound, painting, weaving, filmmaking, photography, puppetry and large-scale projection.

Designed for everyone to enjoy, the festival includes quiet zones, accessible experiences and plenty of free activities so every family can be part of the magic.
