Outback Bloom – Mullewa's Wildflower Festival is a vibrant four-day celebration of wildflowers, nature, heritage, creativity, and community in the heart of Wildflower Country. Held annually during peak wildflower season, the festival showcases the extraordinary biodiversity of the Mullewa region through a diverse program of guided walks, expert talks, workshops, cultural experiences, and family-friendly activities.

Visitors can explore the renowned Wildflower Show and Bushland Diorama, featuring hundreds of locally collected wildflower specimens individually labelled with both their scientific and common names, alongside immersive displays that recreate the beauty of the region's natural landscapes. Daily guided wildflower and bush trail walks provide opportunities to discover local flora in its natural environment, while informative presentations from wildflower experts, photographers, historians, and community members offer unique insights into the region's ecology, heritage, and attractions.

Festival highlights include Inside Wildflower Country with Glenda and Murray Blythe, bush tucker experiences with Wendy Merry, wildflower painting and photography workshops, native seed card making, and heritage talks exploring the legacy of Monsignor John Hawes.
