Workshop: Acting for Camera with Ian Maxwell

In collaboration with The University of Sydney Theatre and Performance Studies department, SUDS is very excited to host Associate Professor Ian Maxwell for a two-hour workshop where actors will learn all about the intricacies of acting for Camera. About the creative:

Ian Maxwell is an Associate Professor of theatre and performance studies at the School of Art, Communication and English, University of Sydney. He is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, where he trained as a thearical director, and holds a PhD from the University of Sydney. Maxwell has published extensively on a range of topics, from the phenomenology of sailing through ethnogrpahic work on hip hop culture, and major contributions to Ausralian theatre history. Among his more recent research, highlights include the Actors Wellbeing project, and his work on the Prinz Bettliegend project
