Join us for the launch of the Rosalie Writers Festival - The Write Adventure - as we speak to authors Mohammed Massoud Morsi and Emily Tsokos Purtill. Morsi has Danish roots, an Egyptian soul and now lives in Perth. His new novel, The Hair of the Pigeon, is a story of love, war, father figures and brotherhood set in the Palestinian communities of Syria, across the Mediterranean and finally, Denmark. Emily is a local author and lawyer with a Greek heart. Her novel, Matia, returns to the past and leaps into the future, spanning 125 years. Matia examines complex mother-daughter relationships and the fate of four generations of Greek-Australian women living in Greece, Perth and New York.
