Join us to celebrate Icons of the Sunshine Coast!

You’re invited to the Opening Event for Icons — A vibrant showcase celebrating the creativity and vision of Sunshine Coast artists living with disability.

Presented by Equity Works in partnership with Horizon Festival.

The collection will invite audiences to experience the region’s unique atmosphere, culture, and spirit through deeply personal and diverse perspectives. Each artwork will explore iconic places, memories, people, objects, and concepts – revealing interpretations that are distinctive, authentic and inspiring.

More than an exhibition, Icons will act as a platform for inclusion and representation. It will amplify voices that are often unheard, creating a space where artists with disability can share their stories, identity, and talent with the wider community.

We are excited to be a part of Horizon Festival 2026! Horizon Festival is an annual arts and cultural festival exploring the intersections of art, people and place on Kabi Kabi and Jinibara Country, Sunshine Coast.
