This year, we're thrilled to host the extraordinary Camila Alves from Portugal! Captivated by Forró in 2010 when she was just 17, Camila embarked on a remarkable trajectory as a Forró teacher, teaching group classes, private classes and instructing at festivals globally since 2012 and imparting her expertise in 22 countries across 3 continents. With a firm grasp of technique and a commitment to egalitarian dance dynamics, Camila's teaching ethos fosters expressive dance synchronized with music and partners.

We will also be hosting the incredible Barbara, a Forró teacher from Brisbane who specialises in Roots and has a musical flair that she is excited to share with the Sydney Forró community! With their incredible talent and infectious energy, these two incredible teachers will guide you through the steps, beats, and spirit of Forró, ensuring you leave each workshop with a deeper love for this captivating dance.
