NAROOMA OYSTER FESTIVAL 2024

WHERE: QUOTA PARK, RIVERSIDE DRIVE, NAROOMA NSW

WHEN: Friday May 3 to Saturday 4 May, 2024

FRIDAY 3 May 2024: An evening session centred around the festival’s main stage and entrance boulevard. The program includes live music and performance, fireworks, oyster and liquor bars and one ticketed dinner event. 

A limited number of food and coffee vendors will be invited to join once applications have been reviewed.

Operates 4pm - 8.30pm

At least 2000 attendees are expected.

SATURDAY 4 May 2024: Saturday is the main stallholder trading day and the focus of the Oyster Festival. The program includes Australia's Oyster Shucking Championships, Australia’s Biggest Oyster, Oyster Farmers Alley, Champagne Oyster Cruises, Ultimate Oyster Experiences, cooking demonstration program with celebrated chefs, live music and performance on two stages, markets with food, produce and wares.

At least 6000 attendees are expected.

Operates 10am - *5.30pm

*Bump-out will be staggered from 4pm depending on site allocation, further advice will be provided to successful applicants.

Applications open: Wednesday 6 December 2023

Applications close: Wednesday 10 April 2024

● All applications will require an immediate full payment. 

Please note if your application is unsuccessful, you will receive a refund of your payment. 

NOTIFICATION
  • Applicants will be notified of acceptance no later than 17 April 2024 and refunds will be issued to unsuccessful applicants
  • Site allocations and information packs will be distributed the week beginning April 29, 2024. 

SITE SIZE AND LAYOUT

  • Site sizes are 3mx3m, inclusive of your entire set-up (including cold rooms and all equipment and product)
  • If your van/truck/trailer/marquee is larger than 3x3m, you MUST book a second site so you will have a 6x3m space to work with. A limited number of 6x3m are available for larger stallholders, if your set-up is larger than 6x3m you will be required to book additional space. This is especially relevant for stallholders that come with larger cold rooms, oversized trucks or trailers. If your truck or trailer is of a bespoke size and you need to discuss how this may work in regards to logistics and costs, please contact the festival organiser. 
  • During the festival, if you do not fit within the site area you have paid for, you will be asked to leave the festival.
  • Vehicles are to be moved offsite to the parking area once set-up is complete
  • No dogs permitted unless they are an assistance dog. They must wear an appropriately marked harness or jacket to be correctly identified.

HOW TO PAY SITE FEES

  1. Select date of which you would like your site and choose the type of site you would like. 
  2. Once you have answered all the data fields you can proceed to the checkout.
  3. If you would like a site for another day, once at the checkout, select 'Buy more tickets' and follow the prompts. 

*Please note no applications will be considered or registered until:

  • Payment has been received and
  • All the data fields are completed with the required information
  • A copy of Public Liability Certificate, photo of Stall, and food certificate has been uploaded to a private folder (this link will be emailed to you)

Please note if your application is unsuccessful, you will receive a refund of your payment minus a ticket fee of 50c.

  • Friday: Bump in 12pm - 2.45pm. Set to trade by 3.30pm. Bump out after 9pm.
  • Saturday: Bump in 6.30am - 9.15am. Set to trade by 9.30am. Bump from 4pm subject to site allocation
