On 24 May 1770, 250 years ago, the crew of the HM Bark Endeavour, captained by Lt James Cook, experienced their first Encounters in our Country.
During this time each May, the communities of Seventeen Seventy and Agnes Water host an event to bring everyone together and annually appreciate this beautiful part of the world and the experiences it offers.
Endeavour to be here in May 2021, as we, with our traditional custodians, Gooreng Gooreng commemorate our own Encounters in Country, in what is now a multicultural Australia.
