Free Filming Workshops - Cambridge Short Film Festival

A FREE, TWO DAY WORKSHOP for participants aged 13-16 to learn basic filming techniques to help complete their short films.

Aaaaand ACTION! The Town of Cambridge is offering a two day workshop for young film enthusiasts aged 13-16 to help prepare for the upcoming Cambridge Short Film Festival.

The workshops will include devising a short script, learning about basic filming techniques (storyboard, shooting and editing), then acting in and filming it. This will include location filming with transport provided by Town of Cambridge buses. Footage will be used to create a short film to promote the film festival and will be shown at the final screening. Participants can use the skills they learn on these days to help create their short film for the competition.

Equipment will be provided but please BYO lunch!

Dates: Tuesday 6th & Wednesday 7th October at Cambridge Library

Places are limited and registration is essential. Participants must attend both days to cover the film-making process.
