A STATEMENT REGARDING COVID-19

POSTPONEMENT OF THE 2020 FESTIVALS

There is no denying that the effects of COVID-19 are proving both dramatic and widespread across all industries, and undoubtedly so for those that specialise in bringing people together.

With this, we have postponed all MOULD – A Cheese Festival events.

We are monitoring government advice across the three states and will secure new dates as soon as it is safe to do so. All ticket sales are on hold until a new date is set.

All pre-purchased MOULD tickets will be automatically transferred to the new date. At this stage, we are not offering refunds.

If you are a ticket holder and would like to use the value of your tickets towards a Mould Cheese Collective box, please email us at info@revel.global (please specify which city you were attending).

IMPORTANT STATEMENT FROM REVEL GLOBAL

Hi All,

Firstly, on behalf of all of us at REVEL, and all our amazing cheese folk, we can’t thank you enough for your patience and overwhelmingly positive support for this event. These are indeed unprecedented times and now, more than ever, it is paramount that we all come together as a community in mutual care and support; that is what these events are all about after-all. Whilst we’re all incredibly disappointed we can’t be in BRISBANE this weekend, we’ve been working tirelessly to secure new dates for the festival.

So for Brisbane, we’re now looking at August 28-30.

All tickets / sessions will be transferred to the new dates.

After an already tough start to the year, with bushfires and drought, these type of events offer our independent cheesemakers a chance to get in front of you, share their wares and for you to buy direct. Your support goes a long way.

However, if you can’t make the new date, we’ll, of course, refund your ticket. In the meantime, we all need some cheese in our lives so we’ve put together a ‘”Quaran-Cheese List” linking ways you can either buy direct, join mailing lists or buy from local retail stores. With around 1.5 tonne of cheese made especially for the event, there is certainly a lot to go around! Can we sell them out of it?

As I say above, these are indeed strange times but your support goes a long way. We can’t wait to celebrate all things cheese with you in August.

After a sell out 2019 tour, Australia’s favourite cheese festival, MOULD, is coming back to Brisbane in 2020 for an even bigger mozzare-hella good time!

MOULD will bring together the best artisan cheese producers from across the country for a day of cheese, wine, masterclasses and more.

To make sure cheese-crazed fans can access as many dairy delights as possible this year we've added even more session times for you.

More cheese. More producers. More sessions

Alongside the best Australian cheeses, there will also be a full food program featuring dishes from local cheesemongers and to wash down all that delicious cheese, there will be wines, whisky, sake, beer and cider available to purchase.

Presented by REVEL the team behind epic food and wine events including Pinot Palooza and Game of Rhones in collaboration with Nick Haddow of Bruny Island Cheese Co. and Dairy Australia, MOULD will bring together the best artisan producers from across the country for a day of cheese, wine, masterclasses and more.

NOTE: This event runs over multiple sessions. Tickets for each session are limited to manage crowds, creating a better event experience. This event was a sell out last year so to avoid disappointment book your session early.

TICKETING FAQ's

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Yes please. As alcohol is at the event, you must be over 18 to attend. Please bring a valid form of identification with you on the day just to be sure (Passport or driving license).

Are children permitted at the event?

This is always a tough one. Whilst the answer is a non discriminatory ‘yes’, our events are often very busy, loud and a little hectic so not an ideal place for little people. We suggest getting a baby sitter and having the day off. We’ll bring the wine.

Will tickets be available on the door?

Only if there are any available. But more often than not, ‘no’ as the events sell out prior. We cap numbers to ensure everyone has a great time and it’s not too crazy as we want you coming back. We strongly suggest buying tickets prior to ensure you don’t miss out.

Is there a refund policy?

Refunds are not available for this event.

I haven’t received my ticket? What do I do?

An automated email is sent upon purchasing tickets. If you don’t receive it, it could be for a couple of reasons. Firstly, check the spam folder as sometimes they get stuck there. Other times, when in a rush to purchase (!), some accidentally enter their email address incorrectly. If that’s the case, drop us an email and we’ll search and resend. But all good, you’ll be in our system.

Do I need to print the tickets?

Nope! You can show your ticket on your phone.

Tasting, not drinking

We like to think of these events as a tasting, not a drinking as we want you to experience as many different wine styles on offer. Creating a safe, welcoming and non-intimidating event environment is what we’re all about so any inappropriate behaviour, of an intoxicated nature or not, that is dangerous to yourself and or others, is just not acceptable.

We have a strict ‘no tolerance’ policy so if we witness any of the above, we reserve the right to take appropriate action and have you removed from the venue.
